I made this for my dad's birthday. he loves boats and we lovingly call him Old Man River so even though boats are traditionally named something more female, we thought it was appropriate. He asked if this meant we boughht him a boat for his b-day and I said No it means we'll never be able to afford a boat for you and this is as good as it gets! My inspiration for this cake was a boat done by MG. It was perfect!
