This is a chocolate cake with caramel icing, flowers made with real caramel, and modeling chocolate leaves. This was my second try at caramel flowers, so thanks to all who had advice on making them better! I'm pretty happy with my progress on the flowers! However, this cake made me remember why I HATE-erm-"prefer not to use" butter cream... :D The smoothness was a bit lacking, and I didn't want to spend all night on it. But I think the lady I gave it to was distracted by the flowers anyway... :lol:
