Since I was having a monthly crochet meeting, I decided to use some of the techniques I'd learned in class to make a cake. This was really my first attempt at fondant beads and making a cluster of daisies. The cake is a moist white cake and is layered with vanilla pudding and sliced bananas. I don't suggest using fresh fruit unless you plan to deliver your cake the day it's finished or the next if you're using fondant to cover it (since you don't want to refrigerate a fondant covered cake. This cake was put together the night before it was delivered. EVERYBODY was ecstatic over the mix of flavors.
