Mom's 70Th Cake - An My First Loopy Bow!

A 12" petal pan. The cake is one layer orange cake and one layer chocolate. The filling is vanilla-caramel-toffee buttercream. Purple Satin Ice fondant mixed with white, which looked a lot lighter in person than the pic shows. Bottom border is buttercream dots with silver dragees. Bow and curlys are fondant/gumpaste brushed with silver lustre dust. The "tag" is a chocolate plaque. Not overly happy with the bow (too big and too "sparse" though I carefully followed the instructions) - lesson learned! TFL!
