A vanilla birthday cake with Buttercream Icing. The outside layers are fondant and the ribbon is made with gum paste. The topper is made with gum pasted rolled with a silver spray. The whole cake is sprayed with a pearl sheen. The fondant is also home-made. The small black diamonds on the bottom layer were painted with concentrated food coloring. The bottom of each layer is covered with pearls of buttercream icing.
