This cake I made for our good friends of ours silver anniversary. Of all my cake making this is the one cake that I remember most. I promised to do the cake, bought everything I needed and went on vacation. I was supposed to be back on Thursday buy trough an emergency I only arrived at home after midnight on Friday. So I baked all trough the night but had it all ready for the party.
