This was a 2 layer sheet cake covered in chocolate fondant. The cake was chocolate with a buttercream filling. The decorations were from fondant and gumpaste and dusted with gold shimmer dust. The curls on the edges are royal icing and every so often have gold dragees. This was a hard cake as it was hard to roll out the fondant as large as I needed it to be, so I had to place it over the top and then wrap the sides with separate pieces of fondant..pain in the...!! The cake was raved about though!
