This cake was made for a fifth grader, graduating from elem. school, who has high aspirations to play basketball for Duke. I auctioned off a cake for charity at my church and this was the request I got. Vanilla cake, vanilla icing, cake hat base made from mini ball pan and covered in fondant. Hat top is card board covered in fondant. "D" and tassel is fondant. Ball is a candle. I can't believe this was for a 5th grader!
