Gift Box With Bag
Thought about not putting this cake in my folder because I was not happy with how it turned out. I forgot to carve the sides of the bag and didn't like how the bag was decorated so tried to take some lines off and made a bigger mess! Then a piece of the chocolate plastic tissue paper fell onto the bottom cake so had to fix that! One of those kind of days. Anyway, a learning experience and thankfully not a paid cake! The bottom layer was chocolate and the bag was the best ever pound cake recipe from here.

It looks terrific! Did you just place the "bag" on the cake or is it secured on?
It is 4 layers of cake with a board between 2 of the layers and also underneath the bag. I used dowels underneath the bag and also put a sharpened dowel through the whole bag and into the bottom cake. I had to travel on some very rough gravel roads with this so I wanted to make sure that it stayed in one piece!
