I have been wanting to try a tiara and pillow cake for a long time, but never had occasion to try it. So I was excited when my friend said her daughter wanted a princess cake!Candy melt tiara with Jelly Belly "jewels". The pillow is sculpted cake covered and decorated with fondant. The lower tier is buttercream with FBCTs of princesses -- it was my first time trying that technique and I didn't have any glass/plexi so I had to do them "blind"! So far, I think I like royal/color flow better than the FBCTs...
