Critique group member:Wow, this looks great! I love the fish! The water and all the shells look great but I would have liked to have seen more of the star fish orange incorperated into the cake.

Critique Subgroup Member: besides what everyone else has stated about making the fish form around the cake, I think it's just incredibly awesome! I love the colors and the detail you put on the fish. I LOVE your starfish and I think you added just the right amount of them. I may have to copy this one for a future fish fanatic I know :)

critique member: I really like the look of this cake...it has a very classy but fun feel.the texture of your water is great! I also love the sand and the shells...very neat. I think that your fishing pole could have been a little smaller...sort of takes away from the cake. Your fish are nice..maybe they needed to be dried on a pan to form to the cake...and they could've had another color. I don't know...i feel like a color is missing here. Your star fish on top is a nice touch. Overall, i think this c...

Critique Group Member: Fantastic design and great execution. Your sculping and painting are so nicely done and glad to see you limited your use of borders. Only suggestion is to add some fabric/ribbon to the board to cover up the foil 'bumps'. Great talent you have!!!

You did a great job - the blue icing really looks like it has movement and the fish are fantastic...I know you are looking for a more critical response but, I think this is fantastic looking.

Wow! I just found my inspritation for my Dad's 80th BD (former fishing boat captain) Is the sand brown suagar? Did you use a spray gun to get the tow toned blue?

Critique Subgroup Member: Very appealing look. The icing looks good -- sort of wavy, like water -- and I like the sand on each tier. It would have been nice to dry your fish on the round edge of the cake pan so they'd fit flat against the sides of the cake. Rocks, shells and fish look very nice. Great job on this!

critique subgroup member: nice job, I like the two tone icing, makes for a water like appearance. I would have liked a more 3D fish instead of being so flat, though their detail is great! Your shells and starfish are great also! next time you might want to cover the edge of your cake board with a complimentary colored ribbon, to cover the slash marks of your cake board covering! overall very nicely done!

critique subgroup member: What a great cake. I think you delivered exactly what was ordered. My only critiques would be to put a ribbon around your board and the fishing pole looks a little out of proportion to me. It is a great cake and my Dad would love it.

Critique subgroup member: Lots of work here! For me it is lacking in an accent color and I do like the starfish maybe more of them would have helped me out. The fish seem stuck on, I would have dried them on the edge of the pan you were using to give them the curve & movement. Your dragging pearl border is a bit loose, tighten it up a bit. But, you need to know, if I got this cake I would be so happy! It is very well thought out & a fun design, Most men & a few women would flip for it & brag about it!!!!!!!

Critique Group Member: I love the starfish colors as an accent to the whole theme. I really like the two-toned blue as well. Great cake!
