Yellow cake with vanilla SMBC icing. 14"-10"-6" rounds. I used an acetate ribbon under the ribbons
to keep the cake safe from dyes and also kept the ribbons grease-free.
The bride had fresh flowers for the cake.
Thank you for your comments. I have started to use SMBC not long ago for its great taste and texture after reading a couple theads here about how to smooth it. I got some reassurance from Antonia74 and ShirleyW and now I have faith that it holds up great even in the humid and warm Texas weather, too. At least indoors.
Looks more like your 100th wedding cake. Grat job. Nice clean lines.
You did a great job. Your edges are so sharp :D
You did a fantastic job. Can't believe it's your 1st. Congrats on a real beauty!
