Thank you... I have been looking at the pic and it sooo looks like the top banding is coming off but it really isn't ...it is just wavy around the top.. Ughhh YUCK...

I don't think it looks like the band is coming off - it looks like the bag is gathered by the ribbon, which is how it's supposed to look. Great job - I'm proud of you, Girlfriend! - Theresa :)

You are being way too hard on yuself. You did a great job. It looks like my drawstring purse ruffles when I set it down so you got it right.

I see what you are saying with the bow. I had to stare at it for an hour to see it. And I really mean stare.... Just kidding. It looks great!! You just looked at it for too long and since you made it you know how much you struggled with it. Trust me I have hated so many cakes i've done and stepped away and still didn't like it. I just tell hubby to look at it and see if there is anything wrong with it. Since he hasn't been staring at it he is honest if something is funny looking or looks bad i'll kno...

I know just how you feel about wanting to give a cake away! I made a cake once that I had so many problems with, and my family kept assuring me that it looked good in general. I was pretty much set on just giving it away, but once I dropped it off for the customer and saw their reactions, I just went along with it and realized that I had been looking too hard at the imperfections. They thought it was awesome!!! As will your customer! This bag is awesome! My advice would be to just drop it off and

...and don't say anything about how bad it is. Just let them decide if they like it, and let THEM be the ones to tell you that it looks bad (because it doesn't!!! It looks GREAT!!!) If they hate it (which they couldn't possibly!) then let them be the ones to bring it up. Don't be the one to offer a discount, because I seriously doubt they will find anything wrong with this cake! It is awesome!
