Wilton Ball Pan. ½ WC IMBC â ½ Crusting Buttercream mix. I tried to make the bottom tier look like a net. The bottom layer is 8â and the top layer is 9â. I wanted that tapered look but I should have made the size difference bigger than an inch. Oh well, lessons learned. Fondant netting and lines on ball. I couldnât get an edible image so the picture is covered with clear contact paper and placed on the board. Colorflow Dots. Chocolate lettering

I used tip 3. Refrigerated it and then pressed each one down with my finger. I took a long time but it was well worth it for the effect I got.

Denise, I just freehanded it from a picture. It's really not that hard. The first two line just cross each other. The other two are curving dissecting lines. If you have a real basketball for a model, it would really help.
