Elliot's 4Th Birthday
I made this for my son's birthday -- we had an "outdoors" themed party at Cabela's. I was inspired by too many camping cakes on here to name, but especially by Hookste's REAL campfire - brilliant!! It was such an awesome effect. Cake is frosted in buttercream with fondant accents; tent is gumpaste; trees are buttercream on sugar cones; used chocolate rocks.

Thanks! I made the fire just by sticking the candles in the cake. We had to blow it out pretty quickly though because it started to catch the fondant "twigs" aound it!
