I rolled RK treats in a small canister shape which I covered with a rectangle of MMF (only the sides). I stuck a skewer through the center of the "spool" and used a toothpick to go round and round closely forming the "thread". The tops and bottoms were just small rounds of white MMF which I painted and "glued" on after it had dried slightly.
