While I had a great mental image of this cake, it really didn't turn out nice. We drove 4 hours over the highway with the icing, then I got the cake from my sister's and by the time I was able to start decorating (in a sweltering hotel room in January at 1am) the icing was pretty much liquid. It is supposed to have basket weave sides and an edible sparkle cross. LOL!

I figured it is fair to show my failures as well as my success, we're not all perfect right? I made this one in January 2008.
