Ribbon Roses
I made this for my husband's grandma's 80th birthday. It was a 6-8-10"...I actually baked & iced it a couple weeks before the party since we were coming in from vacation the night before the party. My friend came over to take it out of the freezer early for me. I had made all the fondant decors before we left so they were dry & ready to just stick on the cake once I had it assembled. All done, an hour drive to transport through a hail storm & it was a hit with 3 different flavors & one happy grandma!
very nice pretty colors
Really great looking cake. I love all the different colors. Great job!
Terrific! I'm interested in how you iced and froze the cake! It looks great!
Thanks all! homemaluhia, I just stuck the buttercream iced cakes in the freezer til firm then double wrapped in plastic wrap, then heavy duty foil. They thawed with the wraps still on...worked like a charm.
very nice job!
So nice! I was looking for an idea for my Grandma's 84th in a couple weeks!
