Football On Tee

Football On Tee on Cake Central

Pound cake with raspberry jam filling and covered in fondant. Tee is rice krispies treat covered in fondant (would do in colored solid white chocolate if I did it again). Lack of time, so printed logo onto frosting sheet. Go Pats!

whoa, I just did a Superbowl cake myself for a local financial company mostly buttercream (w/ FBCT) and some fondant (will post later). I LOVE your football. Where did you get that press for the texture? Did you use the wilton football pan (x2)?

I carved the cake from two loaf pans. Would have loved a football shaped pan! I created a mold of the texture off of a real football. Thank you for the kind words.

Dont worry I would have rather carved it. Mine sunk in the middle (I had to build it up anyway). Did you use the blue molding stuff (I forgot the techy term)?

I used something that I found in Michaels called Amazing Mold Putty. Food grade. Really easy to use. This was my first time.
