2 - 11" x 15" inch sheetcakes. Cake is decorated with buttercream icing. Curious George plaque and bananas are FBCT's. Balloons are fondant attached to floral wire with melted chocolate.
critique subgroup member: Those FBCTs look great!!!! I love the balloons on the wires...what a great way to get the "message" onto the cake. That bottom border is very cute and well executed. Excellent cake!
Critique Subgroup Member: What a great cake. Your FBCTs look great and the colors are perfect. Your side decorations are just right--not too much but lots of color and fun. I love the bottom border pattern.
Critique subgroup member: Oh this is so creative and adorable. I love your balloons are they inserted into a straw? I hope so. The colors are very fun. Just don't care much for the bead border. They are hard to make uniform. But who cares that's just me, because the design is wonderful.
Critique group member: How fun! George looks so cute and I lov ethe way you made the cake 3D by maving the ballons coming out of the cake. The bananas and confetti are also the perfect touches, Well done!
critique subgroup member: I have nothing but "wow, great cake!" to say about this one!! You were so creative with the design, colors, and 3D effect. Boy, your icing is soooooooooo smooth.
Critique Group Member: Thanks you all! Here's some answers and clarifications. The bottom border is a pattern: 2 small beads, 1 small bead. I thought that would be fun for a child's cake. The wires are attached to a dowel rod. The straw is a great idea. I'll have to remember that for next time.
