I really like this cake -- the roses are a lovely color. But I think my favorite part is the border. It isn't the standard shell -- even the tip looks different. Is it a special tip?
Thanks. You are very kind. I don't remember the number of the tip of the bottom border, but it was a big star tip, the tip itself being quite large. I'm not-so-wild about it. The top border is tip 21. The roses took tons of red food coloring and a teeny pit of black and purple.
I've had the Bosch for about eight years now. I love it but don't use it very often, as it lives at my honey's house. I had problems with the metal paddles (I think - don't really remember if that was the problem) - they just wouldn't spin. I ended up getting another plastic set and it seems to be fine. The Bosch is also great for shredding chicken!

How is that Bosch working out for you? I like mine, but make a lot of cookies and the paddle tines break constantly. It is a real pain.
