Life Is Just A Bowl Of Cherries

Hi- I made this cake for my Great Aunt.( today is her 74th birthday!) she absolutely loves mary englebreit and cherrys, and she liked it so much she started crying when she saw it. ( she says she won't eat it but i hope she will.) it took about 10 hours but it was totaly worth it. It's red velvet cake with buttercream dream icing covered, the cherry stems are royal icing and the bowl, cherries and the sign are MM foundant. thanks for looking -Samantha (age 16)
I just simply love this!! ME is one of my alltime faves and you did an awesome job!!! How did you get the cherries so shiny?? :D
thanks mgigglin! the cherries were white so I painted them with red food color mixed with water.
P.S. it takes two coats of paint.( and don't froget to wear gloves or you will have red finger tips like me! Lol.
