The cake is made up of 3 tiers-6,9 and 12 inch. The top two layers are sugee cake and the bottom layer is a fruit cake. IT was quite a challenge to cover up the bumps made by the raisins on the bottom layer. I had to cover them up with buttercream before I put fondant over it.
The flowers are big fresh orchids which I think is absolutely lovely. I added green ribbons to the border and piped above it with royal icing little white beads.
