I did this cake for my dad's birthday. I used rolled buttercream and airbrushed it purple. The bow and squiggles were made out of gumpaste. The ribbons were made out of fondant. Both gumpaste and fondant were colored gold using luster dust. I used a stencil for the side design and painted on with vodka and luster dust.
