Mini Gift Box Cakes

Boy did I ever calculate this one wrong! I didn't charge nearly enough for the amount of work & supplies put in to this. I built the stand myself, and there are 3 varieties of cakes (differentiated by their colors). She got this from a picture in a UK cake magazine. She was a great bride, so it was worth all the work. Hated it and was cursing up until the display - then I loved it!!!

Oh My Gosh you rock. I have done these and they are the most time consuming things on earth. How much did you charge if it's ok to ask?

I charged $4/each, but I learned quickly that the next go round they'll be more. It cost almost $75 just to build the stand!! And then you figure it was close to 20 lbs of fondant... it just kept adding up! Defintely don't be afraid to charge! I've seen on some sites that they're starting at $7-8/each!
