Awesome!! Do you use the denser cake when carving? any receipe I have from a cake box base seems to not hold as well.

I use a doctored cake mix which is a little more dense.

Thanks so much everyone! The trunk is actually a can of pineapples wrapped with brown fondant. Not very stable at all so you may want to try something else. :D
