Chocolate Covered Bride And Groom Oreos

Chocolate Covered Bride And Groom Oreos on Cake Central

These are bride and groom oreos that my mom and I made for my sister's engagement party. We underestimated how time consuming these little suckers were going to be, but in the end we were pretty happy with the turnout since it was our fist try at them.

Wonderful job!. So did you make the tuxedo and gown motifs freehand or did your mold come like that. If mold--where oh where did you get it? What kind of chocolate did you use? Sorry for so many questions...

These are definitely molds which I got from onestopcandle.com. They actually give you a full tutorial on their website on how to do these cookies. It took a long time, I don't know how many hours over 2 days to do these. I had to do 120 cookies in total. I used Merken's colored chocolates. My advice would be to get plastic bottles with very fine tips to do the small details. You need the small tips to get in the small areas and the plastic bottles are easy to reheat. HTH.
