Kiersten's Birthday
8" Chocolate Fudge cake with chocolate buttercream and fondant/gumpaste accents. Client wanted chocolate on chocolate, but gave me free reign on the design. Since it was yet another last-minute order (I've GOT to stop taking these!), I skimped a little on the detail. Overall, I'm really pleased!

i forgot to say how beautiful your border is also. how did you make them.. are they fondant? great job
Thank you! The border is pink, pearlized fondant. I used the medium rose petal cutter, pinched the rounded end, and layed them next to each other, adhering with a small royal icing rope border.
