I made this for my sons third birthday. Triple chocolate fudge cake with cookies and cream filling. The bed is rice crispies treats covered in fondant, the foot and head board are fondant. Figurines are toys.

Wonderful cake! How did you get the different shades of wood color on the floor? It looks like the floor is done in buttercream (not fondant) but I can't imagine how you would get those colors to work like that in buttercream. Very nice job!
The floor is fondant. To get it to look like would, I added brown food coloring but did not mix it in all the way. Also, when I was done laying the fondant down, I wet a paint brush and brushed over the color.
