This cake was made for friends mom's birthday. I used royal icing to make the flowers. It was in the spring so I did spring flower cake. I wanted to color the white icing yellow and do the border in a contrasting color but I got distracted and forgot.

beautiful cake!!! are these the flowers from the Wilton 2 class? they look familiar. . :). you did a great job with all the flowers!!! :) It looks good with the white icing and yellow borders just the way you made it. It lets the flowers be the highlight of the cake.
