The Cake That Almost Wasn't!
This was the whimsy -all -shades- of -purple wedding cake for the wedding that I did this past weekend. I coordinated the whole wedding and made everything from cakes to flowers and food / decor... with three days notice! I have a great story about this job...from everything that could...going wrong during the making...(with no sleep for three days) to the old country lady who tried to STRAIGHTEN the cake before the bride saw it (damaging it terribly)..but in the end the bride loved it all!

Thanks rcs! Yes..3 days! Lol...I made the fron page of our local paper for being able to pull this off! Now they want to interview me about these new and hip cakes ..lol...aand do a story on me. I truly had one disaster after another with this!I was bc with fondant accents. after the old lady tried giving it a shove...many shells etc. were needed to get it back in some semblance of order.THe wedding was one where the bride planned it all and sneaked it on the groom! Long story.I am about to post it!
