Meadowbrook Donation

Meadowbrook Donation on Cake Central

This cake and its subsequent pastry trays and gift basket (see other pic) were a donation to a fund raising auction for a local Performing Arts Foundation, set up by a large concert venue in this area. This donation was a huge boost for my shop as it was mentioned on a highly listened to local radio station a few times, as well as getting a write up in 3 local newspapers. There were quite a few big name people at this event and all of them got my menu, so that was really exciting. The cake is chocolate with mocha filling, crumb coating in IMBC and covered in fondant. The piping was done in RI. The music sheet for Ode to Joy is actually copied verbatim so a pianist could actually play the song from my cakewell except for a few notes that I took creative license with because it looked better. This was a fun cake to do for many reasons. Thanks for looking!!

Thank you so much! I had a lot of fun making this, though I did take some artistic liberity with the music notes so truly if someone played it it might be a bit off. The sheet music was a lot easier to pipe out then I expected. You should give it a tyr for your cousin.
