I've never made a cake in my life and for my daughter's 3rd birthday coming up in March she asked for a Belle cake...oh no! I am going to try my darndest to make it. She deserves the BEST becuse she's been through so much with going through chemo last year and now she's done! So, I'd like to know how to work with fondant! HELP!!

I lvoe the flowing dress. waht a great idea to cover in fondant. My colored fondant always gets white spots from rolling it out on powdered sugar or cornstarch. I've tried brushing it off, or wiping it off with water, but then it just looks wet. How do you keep yours so colorful?
