I know this really isn't a question but I wanted to thank everyone for the tips they've given in response to my questions, and for all the great questions everyone else is asking. I love to read through them and see things that "yeah, I was wondering how to do that too". This has been a great resource, thanks for all your help - directly and indirectly. You guys ROCK!

Sharing info is very fun... that's how I learned 95% of what I know.

I want to thank you for sharing with us. I made booties with your instructions and chocolate transfer is now one of my favourite techniques. Thank you soooo much! icon_smile.gif

cali4dawn,
I also want to thank you for sharing your buttercream icing awhile back.
I've been making it since and everyone seems to love it. I've tried using the wiltons' but wasn't very happy with them. So thanks again.
Also, how much cocoa should I use to make it a chocolate buttercream icing?

You guys are great? I've learned so much from this site, I'm becoming addicted to it, although I go on only when my 20 month old is napping, or vary late at nite when she's in bed, which is when I have time to practice.

add as much as you like- it's a personal thing. When I use cocoa (which is rare) I even add brown icing coloring t make it darker.

I normally make my chocolate icing using 1 batch of BC and 1 batch if ganache.
