woo hoo..when my son was around 8 years old he used to "help" me out quite a bit when I baked.

As a matter of fact he used to enter his cakes in cake competitions and sometimes beat me to first places in his divisions. He was all set to be a chef and was thinking about going to Johnson and Wales University with me.

He is now 19 and hasn't been involved in baking since he took Home Economics in HS...he cooked better than the girls..lol

He goes to college now, taking Game Art and Design.

I got the Paula's Loaded Oatmeal cookie recipe from one of the cc posters..so I just went in and asked him if he'd come help me back them.

To my surprise...he said YES!

WEll, one of his little girlfriends came over and I decided to do marshmellow fondant instead..lol

We can make the cookies tomorrow!

PS: when I took this mess out of my mixer it was pretty floppy..was it supposed to be like that? and I didn't grease the plastic wrap...Was I supposed to?--lol
