I just wondered if anyone out there had a web-site through godaddy.com
I was going to check into it because I think you can transferr your name.
I was wondering about the site-building program they offer and just overall service.
Thanks
Janette
I started out with GoDaddy, my domain is through them. I tried their website builder, but for some reason something on my computer is meesed up and it would not let me add text or pictures. I could work on my site from my father's house on his computer,so it was a problem with my computer. There help desk was not able to help me figure out what was wrong, and neither could my isp provider so I cancelled the account. My domain is through GoDaddy, but my website builder is Hyper Street.
I register all my domains (I have 12 of them) with GoDaddy. I like them. But I host & build sites so I wouldn't know about their builder.

I am curious about this also. My DH and I were looking at their site the other day wondering about it.
i used them to host my site and am very happy with their service; however, i used frontpage to design it.
I use them for my website and I love it. They don't do anything to annoy me (ads) and they don't pressure me into buying things, etc. I don't use the site builder software because I use software I already own. (I should be doing it totally by hand, considering I have a degree in web programming!) Anyway, I suggest them whole heartedly!
I don't really care for them for website building as I think most of the site by them aren't css based. They still look like html or dhtml which is a little less flexible, in my opinion.
I don't know anything about website programing so the easier the better. I paid for 24 months of their website tonight and I cancelled it after two weeks because I couldn't get a picture to upload and it was all around difficult. I switched to something else temporarily it's much easier to use but it is $20/month vs $4.95 for godaddy.com
I think I'm paying $10 right now through Yahoo
For some reason I thought godaddy.com was only a couple of dollars a month.
I guess I may as well stay with yahoo, it would be my luck I'd switch over and mess it up. I don't have a web builder program so I would have to use what ever they have.
Frankly, I'm turned off by the commercials of the half naked girls. I get my domain names from mydomain.com and haven't had problems, but I pay $8.50 per year and the $1.99 they were advertising during the superbowl seems tempting, but their commercials relay to me that they don't share my values and I am not sure they have staying power in the market and I don't want to mess up my domain names. (I've purchased a lot of them too)
