Hi everyone!
I was wondering if anyone here does children's party planning? I think that this would be soooo much fun, and a natural extension of decorating cakes! I don't know if my area would support something like that, but I'd love to give it a try once my cake skills are a little more honed.

Any thoughts? Suggestions? Experiences?

I was an events planner for years until my spouses job relocated.

Kids parties were the worst. not because of the kids- because of the parents (aka mommies). They are just as bad to work with as a Mother of the Bride.... proceed with caution.

I too am interested in expanding a little bit........my work with mommies is sometimes frustrating. I have discovered mommies want to "out-do" everyone else and are willing to spend whatever it takes to accomplish this. However, they are VERY PICKY.........worst than the child. It'a a lot to think about........
