There's lots of flavors of cakes, fillings and frostings, but what is the strangest request you've received?

How about lemon with blueberry filling?

No one ever askes me for flavors because all my cakes are free for the most part. My husband's family is so plain (I love them to death though) that they were taken back by my strawberry flavored cake, and my red velvet cake.

Ha, you're funny. Yes I get rave reviews on my strawberry cakes too, that seems to be the most popular. Most of my cakes are free too but every once in a while I get a request for something different and I'm always up for the challenge.

Lemon and blueberry actually are complimentary flavors, although I've never put blueberry filling in a cake...

My weirdest one was Italian Cream with mocha ganache filling and chocolate buttercream frosting. I didn't even want people to know it came from me...

Lemon cake with blueberry is very good, as is raspberry with lemon cake.
