Looks to me like 3, maybe 4 8" squares stacked, then the sides carved at an angle. Can't see the roof well enough to know what they used, maybe cinnamon grahams? Loved the shredded wheat hay bales!

Nitu - I will find out and let you know!

What would you charge? 35 or 40? or is that too high?

Nitu - here is the link for the cake.
I tried to find it myself on the website, but I couldn't find it.
I was hoping who ever did it would have talked about it.

40 to 45 are good price of that cake.
But I don't know about flavor.
Flavor is more important for making a value.

I am sorry I am very new here its better you ask any experienced person.
But thanks for asking me.icon_smile.gif

Thanks again,
Nitu

May I chip in my 2 cents in this issue. I'd use the 3D house pan to bake 3 cakes and glue them with b/c icing. If you don't own this pan, then you should bake 4-5 square cakes, freeze them and once they're hard you can GRADUALLY sculpt/shape the top part and put them back in the freezer. BE CAREFUL while you're sculpting the cakes as to don't cut it out too much. The dimensions of the square or rectangular baking pans will depend on how many servings are needed, the price will also depend on the trimmings and servings. For a cake like this the least price I would charge would be as follows: 20/$40, 30/$60, 40/$80 and so on. Prices will also vary depending on the cost of living of the area you live. It's been my experience that cakes cost more in NY city than in NJ, CT and PA.

Good luck and let us know how it came out.

That is a very cute cake. I think you can do it! I would charge no less than $50. You will spend a lot of time on this and the pay needs to be worth it! I can't wait to see your finished product!
