Looking for ideas for a birthday cake for my brother.

My sister-in-law wants a carrot cake (his favorite) with cream cheese frosting. I've done loads of cakes with buttercream frosting, but never cream cheese.

I'm wondering if it's even possible to decorate with cream cheese frosting or is it too thin?

She just wants a simple cake -- anyone have any pics using cream cheese frosting?

Check under Cake Decorating " Crusting Cream Cheese Fostings?" in the forum.

Hi Sammy,

I also read that adding 1/2 Cup cornstarch will help it immensely but I have yet to try it.
