Hi guys! I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on molding an "Indian" out of gumpaste or fondant. A good friend's litte girl watched Legends of the Fall the other day and decided she wanted an "Indian" cake! I have never molded people before and was wondering if there was a trick of the trade! Thanks a lot!

There are press molds of people that you can purchase. Just press the gumpaste in, let it dry and pop it out. It will give you a basic figure that you can dress with fondant or gumpaste. It's kind of like making barbie clothes out of sugar and pressing front to back. Here's a link to a man mold http://www.kitchenkrafts.com/product.asp?pn=MC9410&bhcd2=1170385215. I have also seen similar type molds at Michael's Art Supply in the clay department.

Hope it helps.
