I have an order for a cake with cream cheese icing but the recipe I have is a little too soft and you can't do much decorating with it. Does anyone have a recipe for cream cheese icing that works well for decorating?

Here's a link to a crusting cream cheese icing recipe. I haven't tried it yet but I will today. I have no cake orders but I'm in the mood to decorate.

I hope this helps.

I've tried the crusting cream cheese recipe and really liked it .. you can smooth it with a Viva papertowel just like the crusting buttercream.. just wait about 15-20 minutes before you try it .. it worked great for me icon_smile.gif
