I have a wedding cake to do that is supposed to have leopard print on it.  I need some major advice on how to accomplish this.  I have painted on fondant before using vodka and gel food coloring.  Worked perfect!  My question is, do I let it crust and then put it in the fridge to chill before painting, or can I frost it and put it directly in the fridge to chill?  Also, will it bleed while it’s coming back to room temperature?  This is my biggest fear!  Thanks in advance!

I paint a leopard print once, but it was so long ago I don’t remember.

Hopefully some one can help.
