I'm doing a Snow White cake with an apple on top. How could I make an apple with a bite out of it? It would need to be red on the outside and white on the inside. I don't know if I could cover the white with red and it be smooth and nice. Any help is appreciated.

Make your apple out of Rice Krispy Treats or cake pop mixture, cover it with fondant, take the back of a spoon and depress a section to replicate a bite taken out of the apple, remove the red fondant from the depression and fill it in with white fondant................or.............before covering your base with fondant, hollow out the bite.  Cover the "bite" with white fondant, then cover the rest of the apple with red fondant, slightly overlapping the white.
