I plan on making my kids 1st birthday cake for next weekend. I’m doing 2 half sheets and wanted to do simple decorations with just some sprinkles on the sides and lightly on top How far in advance can I apply the sprinkles ? I’m nervous they will bleed. I purchased a mix pack on amazon and plan on frosting in a velvet buttercream that has heavy cream and Meringue powder added to it,
