People Mold Molding Chocolate

I have a silicone mold for making people. Never used it before. I'd like to use molding chocolate, would that work? What would I use so it doesn't stick? Do I need wire inside to hold the weight? I'm trying to make a boxing ring with boxers. Any and all help or tip are greatly appreciated.
I've never used a mold when making modeling chocolate figures, but unless the characters are very small, I always start with a wire armature. It is possible the chocolate would stick in the molds pretty badly. Fondant might be a better choice to use with a mold, with tylose added for strength. You could partially freeze it to make it easier to remove from the mold and insert skewers into the legs for mounting on the cake and let them dry thoroughly.
