Does anybody use sugarpaste /fondant for their celebration cakes but use a different one when it comes to decorating wedding cakes?
I’ve worked with buttercream (ABC—the “2 of everything “ recipe) & fondant—Whatever the customer wants
I am not sure if you are asking if we use a different brand of fondant for wedding cakes than for birthday cakes or if you mean a different type finish entirely, like buttercream.
If you mean a different fondant, no I use Liz Marek's LMF for all of my fondant cakes. Like kakeladi, I do whatever is requested or is best suited to the cake flavors and designs: fondant, buttercream, cream cheese, ganache, etc.
