I will be doing a semi-naked wedding cake with one tier chocolate and top tier white.

Both layers will have strawberry filling.  Should I do the both layers with almond flavored buttercream, or should I do the chocolate layer with a white chocolate buttercream?

Suggestions please

the sky's the limit -- you could do an almond white chocolate buttercream for both blush why not?

Never thought of that, for the white chocolate flavoring would you melt white chocolate chips/bark vinto the buttercream or use an artificial flavoring?

I am thinking white chocolate chips/bark but would that mess with the buttercream consistency?

No it won’t... many people add melted chocolate to their chocolate buttercream instead of just cocoa!

you Might also consider a whipped ganache frosting...

Yes, white chocolate buttercream is awesome and sturdy.
