good day. i put filling on my cake and i frost it and then put it in the fridge. my cake is falling apart when i cut it. what am i doing wrong
In what way? Is it crumbling or sliding apart? What recipe did you use? Did you level the layers first? Any chance you can post pictures? If you are new to this site you will not be able to reply so start a new post referring to this one
Without more information, I am guessing that it is your recipe and not something you are doing wrong. I developed a cake that I call Magnolia Cake, which started out as a carrot cake, but now, in addition to carrots, it has pineapple, coconut, pecans, and raisins. If I get too happy with the ingredients (add too many), but doesn't cut nicely. The cake is scrumptious, but if you require a neat slice, more binder vs fruit/nut/carrots is needed.
