I made a vegan blueberry lemon frosting yesterday. Even after adding quite a bit of powdered sugar and being in the fridge, it still never got to a good piping consistency. I think I may have put too much liquid in at the start. It’s delicious, but not very effective for decorating. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

About the only thing I can think of is 1)add more powdered sugar or2) make a new batch with no liquid, mixing the two batches

You don't say what type of frosting it is, but I agree with kakeladi, more powdered sugar is the only solution I see.

to get a better answer, post your recipe.  Is this the first time that you've tried that recipe?

If you are new to the site you will not be able to respond to any posts for about 30 days.  Make a new post with reference to this one.  We all know about this and understand having to make new posts.
